Can a coworking desk get you a licence or visa?

Not on its own. A hot desk or dedicated desk gives you a place to work, and the dedicated desk adds a Business Bay mailing address. Neither comes with an Ejari, the tenancy record of the Dubai Land Department that the Department of Economy and Tourism (DET, formerly DED) asks for when it issues or renews a mainland trade licence.

For the licence there are two routes. Our virtual office with Ejari gives you the registered address without a desk (ask for the current rate). A private office includes the tenancy contract and Ejari in the rent.

Our Ejari works for mainland (DET) and free zone companies. Visa numbers depend on your licence and premises. A private office is registered on the Ejari at a standard 10 sqm, which generally qualifies for around 4–5 employment visas, subject to approval by the authorities. Our company formation team checks your case.

Prime Tower sits on the Business Bay side of Downtown. Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall are ten minutes' walk away, the metro is four minutes on foot, and DIFC is about eight minutes by car.

What is the difference between a hot desk and a dedicated desk?

A hot desk (AED 18,000 a year, or AED 1,800 a month) gives you any available seat during business hours. A dedicated desk (AED 24,000 a year, or AED 2,400 a month) is permanently assigned to you, with 24/7 access, meeting-room credits and a Business Bay mailing address.

Can I use the Business Bay address on my trade licence?

Not with a desk alone. The dedicated desk includes a mailing address, but a DET (formerly DED) trade licence needs an Ejari. That comes with our Virtual Office & Ejari package or with a private office.

Do you have a flexi desk in Business Bay?

Our hot desk is the flexible option: any open seat, monthly, yearly or AED 80 for a day. If you need a flexi desk for a trade licence, the Ejari comes from our virtual office package; ask us how to combine the two.

Are day passes available on short notice?

Yes. Day passes are AED 80 per day and can be booked on the same day, subject to availability.

Do I get 24/7 access with a hot desk?

No. Hot desks and day passes follow reception hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 8pm, Saturday 9am to 6pm. Dedicated desks have 24/7 access.

Is VAT included in coworking prices?

No. Desk prices exclude 5% UAE VAT. Meeting-room prices include VAT.

Can I move from a desk to a private office?

Yes. You can change plan with 30 days' notice, at the same address and with the same team looking after you.
